Building+communities

Goodman supports its local communities through a number of initiatives including our good+heart employee volunteering and good+deeds workplace giving programs.

good+heart

The good+heart employee volunteering program provides staff with a day of paid annual leave to participate in selected charitable community activities, supporting not for profit organizations.

good+heart is all about engaging with our communities and under this program, Goodman employees are given the opportunity to make a difference by taking action. Under good+heart, employees can fundraise for a cause they are passionate about or volunteer their time and expertise to participate in a charity fundraising event.

Goodman provides encouragement and support to good+heart participants by either funding the entry fees or costs of the event, making a donation to the cause, or providing time off work for employees to source and organize opportunities for direct participation.

The Goodman Foundation aims to improve the quality of life, standard of living and health of people across the communities where Goodman operates. Its focus is on social change and improving the lives of those less privileged in our community by providing practical assistance by way of capital expenditure for equipment, funding of programs and projects, providing warehousing or commercial space, or the expertise of our people. Many of our community partners, in addition to receiving a Foundation grant, benefit from fundraising and volunteer support from Goodman staff in our good+heart program along with regular payroll donations through the Goodman good+deeds workplace giving program.

The Goodman Foundation is represented across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, and Poland. Expansion of the Foundation is underway for North America.

Through our strategic partnerships with charities and access to the Goodman Foundation, we are building+communities and making a meaningful difference to the lives of those living in our local communities.
